Blender Room

Blender, Adobe Photoshop

While learning Blender, I decided to model my bedroom to practice the skills that I had learnt. I thought that this would be a fun challenge due to the unusual shape of the walls and the familiarity I have with the space. A tutorial was required for some of the more difficult objects, such as the fabric on the bedsheets. However, many of the objects seen were created without any external help, as I wanted to challenge myself to do as much as possible with just my own knowledge. This also allowed for me to explore the different features of the program and try out solutions myself. This provided a good opportunity to practice texturing, as many of the textures are either drawn by me or taken from photos of my room. I got to practice techniques such as UV unwrapping to make sure the texture applied correctly.
